X-FRAME PANNIER RACKS
Designed by Adventure Moto Australia and manufactured by Outback Motortek. The new X-Frames are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage. Matte black powder coated mild steel frames with an alloy X-bracket with multiple Rotopax mounting positions for custom weight distribution, as well as multiple tie-down points.
You can even remove the X-Bracket from your frames when running Hard Luggage to reduce the frame weight.

PLEASE NOTE: Shock Heat Shield is NOT compatible with the 2024 models. KTM has added another oxygen sensor after the CAT and that sensor interferes with the fitment of the heat shield. We are working on an updated heat shield but I have no ETA at the moment.

Keep the heat out of your 790 shock with our heat-shield. A cooler shock improves your suspension performance and extends service intervals.

In order to meet Euro 5 emissions, KTM mounted a large catalytic converter on the 790. We're all for lower exhaust emissions but the CAT is located directly under the rear shock. The CAT can be several hundred degrees under normal bike operation and heat from the CAT increases the shock temperature. When the shock oil is overheated it goes through thermal breakdown. This process changes oil's viscosity which can lead to increased wear on moving parts and poor suspension performance referred to as heat-fade.

Our aluminum heat shield is TIG welded and ceramic-coated. It mounts between the bike's CAT and rear shock to lower the shock's operating temperature. Less heat from the CAT means the shock oil stays cooler, service intervals are extended, the effects of shock heat fade are reduced.

We've received lots of questions about the 790 ADV-R shock failures and the relationship to catalytic converter heat. Camel ADV is not a suspension shop but we believe there are issues with the ADV R shock's internal parts as well as excessive heat from the CAT. If the problem were heat alone, the S models would be failing too but they don't seem to be or at least not in the same numbers.

Whether you have a 790 ADV-R, 790 ADV-S or are running the WP Pro components, keeping excessive heat out of them is critical to good suspension performance and longevity. However, our heat shield will not fix the ADV-R's underlying shock issue.

Outback Motortek designed a rear luggage rack for KTM that isn’t only gorgeous looking but is very functional as well. We’ve added holes that are large enough for technically any tie down straps or bungee cord to help you secure a bag, tent etc. on it.

The bonus is the laser cut holes that allow you to directly mount RotoPax fuel or water cans without any modification.

We have specially designed these PRO side carriers for the rear of the KTM 790 ADVENTURE. They are designed to fit the vehicle as closely as possible. The installation width of the carrier without the case is 550 mm.

Even more robust and ready for adventure - but still removable: with the introduction of the first removable carrier for motorcycle cases, we've made our mark on the accessories market, the PRO side carrier is the new generation. Offroad fans will be impressed. The bike-specific PRO side carrier made of 2.5 mm-thick steel is extremely durable. The PRO side carrier offers side cases from SW-MOTECH, Givi/Kappa, Hepco & Becker, Krauser and Shad as well as the Sysbags (SysBag 15, 30, WP L) a secure fit - the matching adapter kits are sold separately. The PRO side carrier's numerous functional drill holes enable the mounting of RotopaX canisters and other accessories.

We continue to use our trusted and popular QUICK-LOCK fasteners, which were also revised during redevelopment. As usual, the quick-release fasteners can be loosened by a quarter turn with a flat-head screwdriver or our multitool. The carrier can be removed completely in no time and all that remains on the bike are unimposing attachments. For permanently mounting the PRO side carrier on your bike, we now offer a redesigned quick-release fastener. A special mounting kit is no longer required, but the PRO side carrier can now be screwed tightly with cheaper, standard parts (M8). An appropriate screw kit (M8) is available separately from us.
