Meet the Team

Clint MacBride

GENERAL MANAGER DUALSPORT PLUS

Clint MacBride’s passion for motorcycles began when he first started learning how to ride at age seven. Growing up, Clint competed in Canadian wide trials events with the Canadian Motorcycle Association and the Amateur Trials Association. In 2000, Clint’s many years of trials riding won him the Canadian Intermediate Trials Championship title.

Clint’s love for riding has never changed and he continues to participate in adventure bike rallies and events throughout Canada, USA, and Europe. Clint is currently focusing on improving his riding skills to compete on the Canadian team for the 2023 World BMW Challenge – a prestigious honor for all riders around the world.

Clint loves to share his passion for riding with others. On alternating Wednesday nights during the summer, he leads other riders on an off-road/on-road adventure through gravel routes that explore the beautiful Southwestern Ontario. Riders leave the Dualsport Plus shop in Brantford, Ontario, at 6 pm and return just after 8 pm. For more information on Clint’s Ride Nights, please watch our website and Facebook group.

Clint also is the lead rider for the majority of the DualSport Plus Adventure Tours. Leading groups through the Yukon/Alaska frontier is an exhilarating experience for Clint as well as the participants in the tour. Colorado...in all its majesty, is another favorite tour for Clint. The mountains and overpasses Colorado offers is a must destination for any adventure rider.

Clint’s current favorite adventure bike is his 2021 890 ADV R. The KTM is a great choice for extreme off-road as well as a very competent on-road machine, making it perfect for all the tours and adventures we participate in.
When Clint isn’t out riding, he enjoys a good round of golf and spending time with his wife and two children.

Being the General Manager at Dualsport Plus lets Clint share his passion and riding adventure stories with existing and new customers. Clint and his team at Dualsport Plus strive for perfection in service, sales and customer satisfaction by going the extra mile.

To contact Clint directly, he can be reached at clint@dualsportplus.com.

Rick Boughner

LEAD TECHNICIAN

Rick can only describe himself as one thing - hopelessly obsessed with dirt bikes. Rick has been part of the Dualsport Plus team since 2009 as the Lead Technician. Rick’s extensive work experience and education in the Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power/Automation program from Mohawk College and later studying Motorcycle Technician Apprenticeship program at Centennial College, give him a well-round knowledge base for all your service needs and solutions.

Rick started riding at the age of five and was instantly hooked by the thrill it gave him. By the age of 10, he began working on his own bikes and knew that the mechanical path was his calling as he grew up.
In 2004, Rick started racing dirt bikes, competing in Hare Scrambles/Cross Country, Enduro, Motocross, and Trials events. Rick is also an active member with Steel City Riders, a private track for riders. Rick can often be seen at Steel City off-road racing, wearing his race number 266.
Rick’s life motto is that a person can never have too many bikes, and that is exactly what he lives by! From a 2015 Beta XTRAINER, to a vintage 1978 Yamaha DT250, he enjoys his many bikes for their own riding experiences and features. Rick also owns a 2009 Yamaha YZ250 and a 1999 Kawasaki KDX220R.

When Rick’s not racing one of his bikes or working in the Dualsport Plus shop, he enjoys trial/goon riding with family and friends (especially with his fiancé and nephew), playing guitar, shooting/hunting and fishing. Given the right winter weather conditions, Rick also enjoys ice racing, where he can show off his flawless riding skills.

Holly Varey

CUSTOMER SERVICE, ONLINE ORDERS, SALES

In the 1960's and 70's, Holly's grandparents owned and operated West Street Cycle, the Yamaha and Velocette dealership in Brantford. Somehow it seems appropriate that she's working at a motorcycle shop just down the road, two generations later. She certainly comes by her passion for motorcycles honestly.

Holly began riding as soon as she could balance on two wheels and the addiction has grown year after year. She collects and rides vintage Yamahas from the early 70's, earning her nickname Yamaholly. She is an avid member of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group and helps to organize the annual Paris National Rally. Her daily rider, a 2018 WR250R, takes her not just around town but off-road throughout Ontario, the United States, and down to Baja, Mexico.

Holly is also a passionate motorcycle racer since 2017. During the racing season she competes on a 1978 Honda MT125R, 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT650, 1966 Ducati Mach 1 250cc single, and a 1964 Velocette 500cc single, mostly with the Vintage Road Racing Association but also with MotoAmerica and the American Historic Motorcycle Racing Association (AHRMA) in the States.

Wes Kudrenski

PARTS, SERVICE, SALES

The newest member of our DSP team, Wes, started in June of 2022. He’s a familiar face though, as he has been a customer since the beginning of Dualsport Plus, back in Stoney Creek.

Wes started riding at the age of 16 and his first bike was a Honda CB400/4. Sadly, he sold it years ago, but he’s still a Honda lover and owner. The adventure motorcycling bug bit him in 2009 and he picked up a 2020 Honda CRF1100L. Wes makes a habit of roaming roads and trails on his Africa Twin, often up near Parry Sound.

On weekends he teaches new riders as part of their M license rider training course.

Fully committed to the motorcycling way of life, Wes has knowledge and experience, and we are excited to have him on our team!
