MadStad Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z - Windshields (2014+)

Transform your ride
MadStad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide.

What's included in the kit
Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes everything needed to mount and position the shield. Your bike will not require any modification.

  • A set of MadStad adjustable brackets
  • The acrylic windshield
  • Pair of metal side supports
  • Aluminum crossbar (7/8" diameter)
The MadStad brackets attach in place of the stock shield and give you full control to set the optimum height, angle and airflow. This lets you set the shield for your particular height and riding position while pulling lots of air underneath it which is critical for smooth comfortable wind protection. You can use them with any stock or aftermarket shield, or get a complete system with our own windshield designed to provide the smoothest airflow possible.

Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

RIDER HEIGHT & SHIELD SIZE
Height: 5'7" to 5'9" (170 - 175 cm) Shield Size: 18" (450 mm)
Height: 5'10" to 6'0" (178 - 183 cm) Shield Size: 20" (500 mm)
Height: 6'1" to 6'3" (185 - 191 cm) Shield Size: 22" (500 mm)
Height: 6'4" and taller (193+ cm) Shield Size: 24" (600 mm)

These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position. We can also accommodate extra short or tall riders by special request.

Any windshield made for this bike can be used with these MadStad brackets. You don't have to order our windshield, you can get the brackets only, however other manufacturers have not shaped their windshields to optimize airflow with MadStad brackets.
