one minor scratch on one crash bar but easy repare on my side. Missing also installation instructiions for the crash bars. Found a good video on youtube from Outback for easier instruction.

I have dropped my Africa twin a few times practising in the sand. The bars are wide enough to keep the bike well away from the ground. Very solid and best I have had to date.

Best Crash Bars	August 3, 2019

Of all systems to limit bike damage after a crash, this one looked like the sturdiest of the bunch. Bars that come with the AT are a glorified light bar. On the Adventure Sports model you have to remove the exhaust to install. I sacrificed the light bar bracket at the bottom with a Dremel tool, so no need to remove exhaust. Quality looks great. Hope I don't scratch it up too badly!

Good product. Looks good haven’t crashed yet to see if they work. Bit of a pain getting some of the fasteners installed . Nothing a little cursing couldn’t overcome!

Was looking to upgrade the factory light bar into something a little more robust and after lots of research picked the Outback Motortek product. Looks great and is very solid on the bike. My only complaint would be with the instructions that come with it. Very vague and leaves you guessing, especially with the Adventure Sports model. Youtube videos helped though.

Excellent crash bars, poor skid plate fasteners	June 21, 2018

The crash bars are very nice. They're solid, with lots of clearance to the bike. Looks like just the right thing for protecting the radiators and engine, and giving good hand holds for manhandling the bike around.

The skid plate countersink fasteners provided are cheese grade steel though. I rounded the allen key sockets out by using a torque wrench set to factory torque spec for the factory skid plate and a good quality driver. Now I've gotta drill it out and replace it with something. I would have loved to see a high grade bolt there.

Outback Motortek Ultimate Protection Package - AT	March 6, 2018

I haven't installed the package yet, but the quality of the bars and skid plate is impressive. The instructions for each part are very clear and the hardware that comes along with the packages is excellent. The only suggestion I have, if it wasn't already included and I didn't see it, is which part of the 3 part package I start the installation with. Thank you OMT and DSP for the great products and service!!!
