Outback Motortek Skid Plate - BMW F750GS/F850GS

The BMW F750GS or BMW F850GS engine and exhaust armour skid plate is designed to protect vital and fragile parts of the engine. It offers exhaust header and oil filter protection from rocks kicked up by the front tire as well as sump protection impact. Don’t let damage ruin your off-road trip.

Compatible with 2018-2020 Euro 4 and 2021-2023 Euro 5 F750GS and F850GS. Not confirmed yet to be compatible with F850GSA.

  • Provides protection for the following parts – oil pan, oil filter and the exhaust headers! That’s a short list full of expensive components our skid plate offers to protect.
  • Vent system – Not too much, not too little. Cutting dozens of holes into a skid plate is known to weaken the structure. Not adding any vent holes can increase the chance of engine overheating. Our skid plate offers a good balance.
  • Shaped to skid – Obstacles such as rock, logs or tree stumps are part of trails we ride on. This can present a big challenge for skid plate. We design our skid plates to deflect objects, rather than to get caught on them.
  • 0.16″/4mm thick laser cut aluminum – It’s thick enough to withstand potential damage, yet lightweight.
  • Powder coated – combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to withstand some damage due to off-roading.
