Got these as an upgrade to an older pair of discontinued Klim pants, which were excellent but bulky. The Carlsbad pant is excellent for the adventure rider who actually goes off-road and needs a protective, but lightweight pant. here in the maritimes we get constant weather/temperature changes and these pants are perfect. Waterproof and warm, but a simple zipping open vents when it gets warmer out avoids overheating. I notice how much more refined the fit is, so it's clear Klim is upping their game. I would recommend this product to anyone riding street to dualsport and everything in between.

I got my request to review my Klim Carlsbad Pants before I got the pants. Patience please.  The pants have now arrived, and I was able to try them out today.  I have a 28” inseam and a belly. I took a small risk ordering a 34 Short, but these pants are great.  Look really well made, and are very comfortable.  Hip, thigh and knee pads stay in the right spot, and aren’t noticeable.  Probably going to have to buy the jacket now.  Dualsport Plus  was easy to deal with. I would have no qualms about shopping with them again.  Cheers.
