If you’ve just bought a brand new BMW F 850 GS, the last thing you want is for the bike to tip over because the side stand sinks into the ground. This happens quite a bit, and is something to watch out for when parking in dirt or gravel, and even on blacktop on a hot day. The good news is that this situation is avoidable with the addition of AltRider’s Side Stand Enlarger.

Made from hefty 1/8 inch (3.18 mm) stainless steel, this foot features a 3D tread that echoes the aggressive AltRider Radiator Guard design, while providing traction for your boots. It is the most ergonomic design on the market, allowing easy deployment of the side stand while still on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, which means the piece will remain tight even after months of use. No more rattling or stripped fasteners!

AltRider’s Side Stand Enlarger for the F 850 GS is offered in a silver brushed steel finish or black powder coat finish.
