Part #OF695
Our Price $84.99 For 7/8"-diameter handlebars with 4.75" to 4.9"-long open-ended original grips (the most common grip size for sportbikes, enduros, and scooters). Maximum power consumption of 48 watts per pair (4.0 amps at 12-volt DC). Grips heat up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit (55 degrees Celsius) - wear gloves while riding as this can be uncomfortably hot on bare skin! Grips are 125mm (4.9") long. Fits bikes with 4.75" to 4.9"-long original handlebar grips. If you'd like a longer grip (5.25" or 5.75" long), check out HotGrips Heated Grips.

These heated grips have bored-out ends and are designed for easy installation on bikes with bar-end weights or throttle locks.
If your bike does not currently have bar ends, you can still install these grips, but your bar ends will remain open. To close your open bar ends and reduce handlebar vibration at the same time, bar end weights and throttle locks are available from Manic Salamander and can be used with these heated grips. To prevent the battery of the vehicle from being completely discharged when the engine of the vehicle is turned off, the controller has software that turns off the heated grips before the battery voltage becomes too low to restart the vehicle. This voltage is set to 11.5 volts. This is meant as an "idiot protection" feature, but not as the normal daily way to turn your grips on and off. You should still turn off the heated grips manually before turning off your bike for the following reasons: To prevent the grips from being turned on by accident, the Controller will not switch on unless there is sufficient battery voltage (12.0 volts). Usually the switch will only turn on if the vehicle is running. If the voltage is insufficient to start the grips, a blue LED on the controller will flash 5 times to indicate the problem when you try to turn them on. Simply put, this is the most complete, easy to install heated grip kit currently on the market, and it's available at a great price (less than 1/3 of the price of most OEM heated grip kits). Most other brands are more expensive, require difficult wire soldering/crimping or drilling your handlebars, don't include all required wiring supplies (like relays and fuse holders), and take a great deal more time to install. There's not a lot to say about this grip kit because it just works - it addresses all the gripes we've always had about aftermarket heated grips.
Includes waterproof electronic controller with following features:
5 power settings (100%, 75%, 40%, 30%, off); LED indicates current power setting; Automatically turns grips off when bike is turned off (when battery voltage drops below 11.5 volts), preventing accidental battery drainage - no need to install a relay! Double-stick tape included for flush mount of controller on fairing; Includes bracket for mounting controller on left-side handlebar control mount bolts (pre-drilled for two M6 mounting screws spaced 31mm-35mm apart on center) Controller size: 56mm wide x 54mm tall x 20mm thick
Includes a tube of high-temperature epoxy for installing grips. ![]()
