Re-usable and pays for itself in 5 oil changes, just wash it out with any type solvent, even common dish soap.

Higher oil flow rate (common paper filters restrict flow when the engine oil is cold, which can cause the bypass valve to open, allowing dirty engine oil to flow back into the engine). Lack of oil or slow flow rate to the top end is the main reason a KLR 650 will lose a camshaft.

Superior filtration filters to 35 microns, a micron is .00003937 inches (one thousandth of a millimeter). a natural brown human hair is approx. 140 microns thick.

Unaffected by engine condensation and water (which can plug a paper filter), heat and oil pressure.

Environmentally friendly, a paper filter can last for up to 50 years in the land fill.

Used by many race car drivers, flows more oil, which gives better protection.
