Happy-Trail EG3 Engine Guard/Highway Peg
for Kawasaki KLR650 all years Part #HTP4-1-4B $99.99 Color: Black powder coat only Happy-Trails third generation engine guard-highway peg combination (EG-3). The EG-3's one inch steel base tube adds additional support and the highway pegs give the rider many more choices in riding positions for greater comfort mile after mile. The highway pegs provide bonus protection for the engine side cases, and they easily fold-up when not in use. They build the EG-3 as light as possible with the strength KLR rider’s need. Side case protection comes from the one inch steel base tube and the top loop of three-quarter inch tubular steel. The metal screen helps keep small sharp rocks from cutting away at water hoses and electrical wires and also offers protection from roosted rocks. Unlike other engine guards that transfer the impact to the engine case, the EG-3 is built to take punishment. Important Note: The EG-3 combination is not compatible with the stock plastic skid plate. The stock plate must be set aside when installing. For this reason and to maximum your protection package you may wish to select our custom skid plate in either black anodized or bright anodized aluminum. |
